Capcom has announced that the PC performance testing tool for "Onimusha: Warlords - Path of the Demon" will be available on July 14th, with the full game launching on September 25th.
A demo version of the game is currently accessible on Steam. The game continues the franchise's signature sword-fighting combat, allowing players to embody Miyamoto Musashi and battle demons within a feudal Japan setting infused with fantasy elements.
"Onimusha: Warlords - Path of the Demon" does not feature an open-world design. Instead, progression is structured through distinct levels where players will overcome enemies and solve puzzles in various environments, offering a focused and varied gameplay experience. The development team estimates the main story campaign to last approximately 20 hours, with additional optional side quests and hidden content to cater to players who enjoy exploration.
While the game emphasizes exhilarating action, its difficulty level is not intended to be as demanding as titles like the "Souls" series. Capcom aims to provide a challenging yet accessible combat system that allows a wider audience to experience the thrill of defeating demons, highlighting the satisfying impact of sword combat and establishing a unique "Onimusha" experience.
